Our 2021 Festival, like so many others, has fallen victim to pandemic restrictions. We will return in 2022. In the meantime, we will be running a “Support Shrewsbury Pubs” event on the 2021 Festival dates, with a dedicated map, a live-as-we-can-make-it beer list and suggested routes (with guides if restrictions allow).
To see the details of the event (which are still evolving) click on “Support Pubs Event” in the menu above, or click here Support Pubs Event
Shrewsbury CAMRA Beer Festival will take place from 7th to 10th September 2022 at:
The Church of St. Mary the Virgin, St. Mary’s Street, Shrewsbury, SY1 1DX
Hi will the Thursday be open to the publc and/or camra members?

Great Festival 2019 and a great venue to boot. Called in on Thursday and briefly on Friday afternoon. Met and talked with a No of the volunteers and visitors. Very friendly and welcoming. Great visit for us from Doncaster. Enjoyed every minute, Hope the venue can be retained for next year. Looking forward to returning already. Top marks, all involved.

Looking forward immensely to a Friday visit. Travelling from Manchester, great to see lots of interesting ales on offer. Hope all goes well on opening, first visit to your festival though I’ve enjoyed Shrewsbury’s pubs a number of times. See you then!

You don’t need to be a member to go to the festival….in fact now’s your chance to get your mates to join the campaign!
