ARCHIVE Shrewsbury Beer Festival 2019

Shrewsbury CAMRA Beer Festival will take place from 24*-27 July at:
The Church of St. Mary the Virgin, St. Mary’s Street, Shrewsbury, SY1 1DX

The new venue is bang in the town centre, much closer to the railway (0.3 mile) and bus (0.2 mile) stations, and all the park and ride and many buses leaving town pass the front door.

Latest: Beers list now published!  See foot of this page, or download from the link below:

Beers List From Programme

St Mary’s is a redundant church. The church custodians are right behind the festival and we are looking forward to working with them.

*24th July is a trade and CAMRA members only preview.

The Staffing form for volunteers is available as an Excel or PDF file here: instructions on returning the form are included on the form itself.  Don’t be shy – we’d love to have you!

Beers List

Beers are listed below in alphabetical order by brewery, which, with the exception of our main sponsor Stonehouse and the specials for the Church window funds, is how they will be arranged on the bar.  Those early in the alphabet are closest to the East end.  The main sponsors’ bar is against the Choir stalls.

Please note that not all beers can be guaranteed in any session. Although none are being reserved, every barrel has a bottom.  We’ve done our best on accuracy, but the beers aren’t in the hall and tested yet!
