*** Beer Bus Trips ***
Beer Bus trips must be pre-booked by contacting Dave Ricketts. Try and book early as some trips get fully booked. Payment (usually around £15 each) is made on the day. The Friday night minibus usually departs from the Salopian Bar in Shrewsbury at 7pm and returns around midnight. For the occasional Saturday Beer Bus trip, the minibus will leave the Salopian at 12pm midday.
JANUARY 2023
10th Jan – Committee Meeting, Nag’s Head 7pm
19th Jan – Public Transport Group to Chester, 10:25 train from Shrewsbury railway station arriving in Chester at 11:21. Suggested pub route: Victoria, Bear & Billet, Olde Kings Head, Brewery Tap, Cross Keys, The Cavern of the Curious Gnome, Deva Tap. Returning either at 16:23 (arrives Shrewsbury at 17:15) or 17:35 (arrives Shrewsbury at 18:39)
20th Jan – Branch Annual Dinner, Prince Rupert Hotel, Shrewsbury. Arrive at 7pm, meal starts at 7:30pm. Please contact Helen Arkell or Dave Ricketts to confirm numbers and your menu choices before the 12th Jan if you would like to come. The menu options and prices can be found here.
24th Jan – Branch Meeting, White Horse 7pm.
27th Jan – Beer Bus to the Whitchurch town centre + Bhurtpore, Departing from the Salopian at 7pm

14th Feb – Committee Meeting, Nag’s Head 7pm
16th Feb – Public Transport Group to Bridgnorth, Arriva 436 bus departing Shrewsbury bus station at 10:50 and stops outside the Harp, Bridgnorth at 11:42. Suggested return buses depart from outside Sainsburys at 17:13 arriving Shrewsbury at 18:10, or departing at 18:13 and arriving at 19:10
21st Feb – Festival Working Party, Three Fishes 7pm.
24th Feb – Beer Bus to Ludlow, Departing from the Salopian at 7pm
28th Feb – Branch Meeting, Upstairs in Royal Oak 7pm.
